Brief
Heritage Portfolio were appointed four very grand, historic National Trust for Scotland properties to market as venues for weddings, private parties and corporate events. The brief was quite specific in that there were limitations as to how we could do this in terms of alignment with the National Trust for Scotland brand. The target audience was very specific as war the type of use suitable for each venue.
Solutions
Where there’s a tight budget, clever spending solutions are the answer. In order to target the wedding market and to an extent the corporate market, even in the current economic climate, we had to come up with the best way to promote the venues. And ultimately to get bookings.
Results
Reflecting the heritage of the properties and their location, the brand name and identity, The Scottish Heritage Collection, was born. Supporting the website is a printed brochure and adverts in relevant publications. Has it been a success? They've just had their first wedding in Falkland Palace.
