We’re proud to share that in November 2025 Lane became Employee Owned, marking a significant and exciting step in our evolution. This move places the majority ownership of our agency into the hands of the people who make Lane what it is — our team of talented multi-skilled and multi-disciplined specialists.

Lane was started in 2008 by our founder Ali Findlay, then Lane Media was founded in 2015 by Ali and Barry Fearn who’s now our CEO. Ali and Barry always had a people-first culture, and now their legacy means that we are people-led as well as purpose-driven.
Becoming an EOT means Lane’s next chapter is shaped by our team collectively influencing the direction of the agency. It creates a more inclusive, transparent culture where people are more invested — emotionally and economically — in the work and results that we deliver.
