Edinburgh Airport (EDI) felt their employee values had become tired and uninspiring. We worked with them to create a new look and feel – based on five core values. In amongst a lot of existing airport messaging, the challenge was to come up with ideas that would cut through and stand out.
We needed to create something visually engaging that also worked seamlessly within the EDI brand. We came up with a unique set of icons, which capture the essence of each value. We launched with posters throughout communal areas and workspaces. This was supported with a film exploring what the values actually mean to EDI colleagues.
Since the successful launch of the employee values campaign, overall engagement has been high. After some very positive feedback from all the major stakeholders, it’s been rolled out further. Even better, colleagues are using the values as part of their daily working lives.
