Girlguiding Scotland was looking to grow their online presence and drive interest and action through the use of paid search. Lane Media started to support the brand by directing relevant traffic in areas such as volunteering, joining and attending events for Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows across Scotland. Soon after the core priority shifted to driving traffic to their online shop to boost a significantly under-performing online revenue stream.
Through a Google Ad Grant we have supported Girlguiding Scotland’s online shop for several years, scaling throughout the first year and considerably boosting sales which in turn, supports the charity. We utilised the grant to maximise traffic to the online store to drive conversions, while also running campaigns to enhance brand awareness for the charity, supporting in key areas such as volunteers, donation, and brand discovery.
In the last 18 months we are proud to have helped deliver more than £100k in e-commerce revenue to Girlguiding Scotland directly from our carefully constructed Google Grant ads activity.
The conversion rate of 5% also significantly outperforms industry benchmarks.
Utilising our ongoing test, measure and refine process, Lane Media will continue to find new opportunities in the account for further revenue generation – all for zero advertising investment!
